Floormart Sales Director - Steve Turvey, approached Aylis to see if we could help them build a new, modern ecommerce website.  Steve and his fellow directors were unhappy with their website; specifically a lack of features and poor support.  We are delighted to say that Floormart are now using BigCommerce (our recommended ecommerce solution) to power their website and a custom BigCommerce Design provided by Aylis.  We recently caught up with Steve to discover how the new site is performing and his thoughts on our service as a whole…

When asked to comment on the process, Steve had this to say:

We enquired how the new software compared to the old:

‘ BigCommerce is an amazing and extremely capable platform. ’

“ It has many features built in that our old platform could only dream about. ”

‘ Order management is clear, fast and concise, making our invoicing very simple.  There are many ways of communicating with our customers including emails that are sent to the customer at every stage of their order.  Inventory options are very comprehensive and have allowed us to promote our products in ways we never thought possible.  Large product photos, video embedding and lots of extra info fields are all things we didn't have previously.  The marketing capabilities are substantial and seem very Google friendly.  We have found our conversion rate is just going up and up. ’

We wondered if they'd had any positive customers comments:

‘ We've had many compliments on our site.  Both in terms of design and functionality.  This is reflected by our suppliers who have said they are over the moon about being featured on site of such high quality.  We're now also getting interest from larger blue chip companies and other organisations that we have never dealt with in the past.  Customers find it easy to use and have also commented on how pleasing it is to look at. ’

On comparing sales before and after working with Aylis:
